Quo

Quo (formerly OpenPhone) is a phone-service provider. Connecting it mirrors your Quo lines, conversations, and call history into Bitment's Phone app with a pasted API key, no OAuth flow.

Where to find it

Settings › Connections › Quo.

Key concepts

Connect Quo

  1. Generate an API key in your Quo (my.quo.com) account.
  2. Open Settings › Connections › Quo and paste it.
  3. Your lines, conversations, and call history sync in, with a progress banner on the first connect.

New activity arrives live afterward. If the import ever stops and asks you to re-paste your key, doing that on this same page restarts it.

Who your texts appear to be from

A Quo phone line is shared: everyone at the firm texts through the same number. Bitment matches your Bitment email addresses against the members of your Quo workspace so Quo can label your outgoing texts as coming from you specifically. This page tells you which Quo member it matched you to.

If it couldn't match you, your texts show up in Quo under whoever owns the phone number until you fix it: add the email address on your Quo account to your Bitment account (under Settings › Account), then re-paste your API key here.

What shows up in Phone

Open Phone and switch to the Quo tab (or the whole app opens there directly if Quo is the only channel enabled for you). Texts and calls appear in one chronological conversation per contact, same as the app's native lines.

A client's Quo conversations

Open a client in Clients and pick Quo under its Coordination group. That page lists the client's Quo threads only, matched automatically whenever a participant's phone number equals the client's number or one of its contacts' numbers, plus any thread you linked by hand.

Disconnect

Use the disconnect action on this page. This stops the sync; conversations already imported stay put.
